It’s time to BREAK UP your Chords

One of the things I always found odd when starting out on guitar was, I was given these full chords shapes yet I would listen to my favorite songs and I didn’t hear those being played a majority of times. Sure, it has to do with the arrangement and mix but if you think about it, you don’t need to always play a full chord. The other instruments like the Bass will play the root most likely and you can free up your hands to play more using chord fragments.

This lesson is a sample of just that.

I encourage you to try these when you are putting your own songs together as it frees up the track from clutter and can really transform your playing.

I welcome your feedback. Thank you, Joe
