Well, Tony Platt, the tracking engineer would say “You need a Marshall amp, a Marshall cabinet, a Gibson SG Standard, and Angus!'”
And he is RIGHT! However, that did not stop me from trying to do a little Tone Chasing.
I thought I would share the steps I took, some observations, and my results in hopes of helping you should you ever try to go after a particular sound.
